A true statement table, I have to admit this one was my favorite! This table for The Big Fake Wedding at Fort Mason in San Francisco was inspired by the ballet Swan Lake and the lush rose gardens in England. I had two amazing swan vases that I just knew I had to use somehow for this event. We put this arrangement together on site (and later, much to her amazement, moved it to my mother's dining room table where she enjoyed it for another few days!) with the intention of showing something simply beautiful. Better suited as a grand arrangement for an escort card table display it pairs nicely with lush, rose filled garlands on reception tables.
We wanted to keep it from getting too serious with hand painted gold striped bread plates and gold flatware. Both the salad plates and gold flatware are antiques found in Niles, California.
