Hydrangea was the head table for The Big Fake Wedding at Fort Mason in San Francisco. The theme for the event was European Sky. It described the "bride" as being extremely feminine with a no expense spared attitude. I wanted to do a more traditional tale that reflected that personality. We used blue hydrangeas for our backdrop. I loved that the fullness of the blooms looked like a beautiful sky dotted with perfect clouds. The centerpiece was blue hydrangeas with light pink roses. We used antique china and flat ware mixed with simple solid color salad and dinner plates. This table could easily be translated to any feeling by switching up name cards, flatware and vases!
